Location-aware photo capture
Photos retain the original camera JPEG. When location recording is enabled, GPS/location coordinates are stored in the capture record and written to JPEG EXIF where supported.

Capture photos and videos with location-aware context that is easy to read, save and share. Geo Camera adds map context, capture time, coordinates, accuracy, optional approximate address and organization details to processed evidence copies while preserving the original capture inside the app.

Geo Camera is designed for schools, field teams, institutions and anyone who needs a clear record of where and when media was captured without turning the workflow into a complicated reporting system.
Video capture with location record
Videos keep a separate capture-location record. Processed video exports can render the evidence footer directly into the video.
Visible evidence footer
Processed copies can show organization, Taken By, designation, capture time, map, coordinates, accuracy, provider and an optional approximate address.
Small map preview
A compact map helps a reviewer understand the capture location at a glance. Coordinates remain visible even when a map or address lookup is unavailable.

Quick zoom buttons are available when supported by the device camera and can be hidden from Settings.
Save the processed result
Final processed photos can be saved to Pictures/Geo Camera by OpenKAAL and processed videos to Movies/Geo Camera by OpenKAAL through Android MediaStore.
02 — LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN
The original media is kept in the app's local storage. Processing for evidence copies is performed on the device.
Organization name, designation, approximate address and zoom controls can be enabled or disabled in Settings.
The app creates a processed copy only when the user chooses Share or Save to Gallery. Sharing uses Android's normal share sheet.
03 — LOCATION & NETWORK USE
Important: Location accuracy depends on the Android device, environment and location provider. The app may report GPS or FUSED as supplied by the device; it does not claim that every reading is pure satellite GPS. Map tiles and approximate-address lookup may require an internet connection.
